Join me in The Red Treehouse as we continue our exploration of a horrifying conspiracy theory with a massive ripple effect--The Satanic Panic.

Though the moral panic occurred in the 1980's and 1990's, the foundation was set decades before--and included several infamous serial killers and mass murderers. The response, particularly from conservative Evangelical Christians, only furthered the scope of The Satanic Panic.

What role did religion play in perpetuating the myths and theories of The Satanic Panic? And is it possible that a few infamous true crime cases helped set the world ablaze?
