Hello Fellow Golfists,
In this episode of The Knackered Golfist Podcast, I got to chat with my Uncle Mike about Golf. He is a resident of the Portland Oregon metropolitan area of the Pacific Northwest. He is retired and has loved sharing his golfing time with a certain group of friends that he has golfed with for many years.
He was fortunate to be able to attend the famed 1996 United States Amateur Championship at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club where Tiger Woods defeated Steve Scott in the last few holes to win his third US Amateur Championship in a row.
He has also attended several of the Peter Jacobsen hosted Fred Meyer Challenge 2 day tournament in Portland for several years.
