Adam Schell, who joins me to discuss Psilocybin, attended Northwestern University on a full athletic scholarship. He was a Big Ten linebacker. He once had 19 tackles against Ohio State. That was his moment of glory. Too young to be in so much chronic pain, Adam got very into yoga after college. All the things that made Adam an average college linebacker —slow, weak, funny, Jewish but very flexible, made him an extraordinary yoga teacher, and he went on to become a celebrity yoga teacher in Los Angeles. During his time of yoga teacher and Adam was attending graduate school for creative writing, and he wrote a novel called TOMATO RHAPSODY, a fable of love, lust and forbidden fruit. Through a tremendous series of coincidences, Adam found his way into the California cannabis industry. Given that the bar was so low, within three years, Adam had built up a statewide distribution company with a network of over 100 farms and multimillion dollars worth of sales each year. It was during his time in the cannabis industry that Adam became very interested in psychedelic mushrooms and their therapeutic benefits. Along with the scientific partner, Adam developed the Microdosing brand BRAINSUPREME.
