Multiple States Sue Over Biden Title IX Rule, Concealed Carry Now Allowed for Approved Tennessee School Staff

Episode 29 Published 1 year, 11 months ago
Description

Several Republican attorneys general have sued over the Biden administration’s Title IX rule change, arguing it is illegal. More states are expected to follow. Tennessee school staff are now eligible to concealed carry firearms at school if they have met the criteria and gained proper approval. Officials at Columbia finally gave the green light for the New York Police Department to enter a recently seized building, resulting in dozens of arrests. Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed a series of bills mainly focused on the state's agriculture sector, including a measure that bans "foreign adversaries" from owning property near a military base. Other states have passed or proposed similar legislation. A federal judge is allowing a class action lawsuit against the Chicago Public Schools Board of Education over its use of the “Quiet Time” transcendental meditation program, which allegedly required student participation and incorporated Hindu rituals.
