Description
In 1612, during the reign of King James I, the castle was at the centre of a notorious trial, when nineteen people from the area of Lancashire were accused of witchcraft. The defendants were imprisoned and tried in the castle. These proceedings became known as the Lancashire Witch Trials. This stone sentinel holds many stories of hauntings, poltergeists, apparitions and human misery.
Anne and Renata follow the story of the Witches of Pendle Hill from the previous case to where they were put to death.
