Daniel Brown is an Emmy-nominated director, writer and storyteller. He has cultivated an eclectic approach, drawing inspiration from film, literature, illustration, animation and music. His art film COLOR TV, NO VACANCY, described as, “Disney meets David Lynch” by Vice and was Vimeo Staff Pick. Daniel has won acclaim for his music videos for prominent artists such as ODESZA, Portugal. the Man and Jon Bellion.
His first feature film debut YOUR LUCKY DAY starring Angus Cloud premiered at Fantastic Fest and was released in Alamo Drafthouse Theaters, and is currently available on Netflix.
He loves to tell stories about the promise or disillusionment of dreamers. People who risk everything for an idea.
