A notorious and cut-throat, gangster is shot dead in his Albany, NY apartment on December 18th, 1931. And his provocative lifestyle suggests a number of suspects for the murder. There were many people who wanted Jack “Legs” Diamond dead including his bootlegging competition, political rivals, and the police. And maybe even his jealous wife? This is the roller-coaster story of the dark and violent side of underground crime during the era of Prohibition. No one was ever charged with Diamond’s slaying, but if there had ever been a trial, there would have been a lot of Reasonable Doubt.
