Both parties involved in adultery should face punishment, but if they repent sincerely, forgive them. Allah forgives those who repent out of ignorance. However, if one persists in evil until death or dies in disbelief, their repentance is in vain. Believers are reminded not to mistreat women or coerce them into giving up their rights. Treat them with respect, and even if you dislike something about them, Allah may bring goodness from it.
