Description
In January 1986, Warner Brothers Records released what was to be the first solo album by Heavy Metal God, Tony Iommi, but just like when "Born Again" was dropped, Don Arden and the label insisted this record be called Black Sabbath.
This was the fourth album released by Iommi and friends since 1980 featuring their third vocalist and second alumni of Deep Purple. Backing up Iommi's riffs and songs were Eric Singer (later of Kiss, Lita Ford, and Alice Cooper), Glenn Hughes (late of Deep Purple and Trapeze, later of Black Country Communion and California Breed), and Dan "The Beast" Spitz.
