Welcome to another episode of Surviving The Survivor, the podcast that brings you the #BestGuests in all of True Crime…

A 12-year quest to overturn a coroner’s ruling of suicide in Ellen Greenberg’s brutal stabbing death ended in legal defeat for her parents.

“We’re deeply disgusted,” Ellen’s mother, Sandee Greenberg said “I’m beyond tears.”

Ellen Greenberg was a 27-year-old first grade teacher at Juniata Park Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Despite all the evidence to the contrary, the Medical Examiner, Dr. Marlon Osbourne, ruled her death a suicide.

But, the Greenberg’s fight is far from over in a case that has never been officially investigated.
