Description
Proverbs 14:34
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
WHO IS THE NATION? I AM THE NATION AND YOU ARE THE NATION MY RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL EXALT MY COUNTRY AND MY CORRUPTION WILL DESTROY IT.
Psalm 33:12-14
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. 13The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. 14From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
Psalm 144:12-15
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: 13That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: 14That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets. 15Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Deuteronomy 28:1-3
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. 3Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
READ Deuteronomy 28:11-13
NOTHING CAN CURSE OR HINDER THE PROGRESS OF A NATION THAT GOD HAS BLESSED
Hebrews 13:6
”So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Numbers 23:8 NKJV
”How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? And how shall I denounce whom the Lord has not denounced?“
A NATION CURSES ITSELF BY DISREGARDING GOD’S COMMANDMENTS
Deuteronomy 28:14-19
And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. 15¶But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: 16Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. 17Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. 18Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 19Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
Deuteronomy 11:26-28
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: 28And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.
THE ONLY WAY TO AVERT NATIONAL CURSES IS TO REPENT AND SEEK THE LORD
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Isaiah 55:6-7
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
