St. Louis erupted for six runs thanks to home runs from Nolan Arenado (finally!) and Lars Nootbaar (sheesh, took him long enough) to race out to a big lead. But Matz and Gallegos struggled in the fifth inning to allow for the game to begin anew.
But how about the lineup battling back with Donovan and Goldschmidt before the youngsters brought it home with an impressive insurance-filled rally. And WOW the back end of that bullpen is cooking with gas.
