The Court of Justice of Ecuador received a call for a mobilization to demand the release of former vice-president Jorge Glass, kidnapped last Friday 5th from the Mexican embassy in that country where he was in asylum.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague received this Thursday the lawsuit filed by Mexico against Ecuador for the assault to the Mexican embassy in Quito.

The former vice president of Ecuador, Jorge Glas, declared Thursday that he was a victim of torture during his detention at the Mexican embassy in Quito in the framework of his appearance online from La Roca prison during the hearing of the habeas corpus appeal filed on his behalf.

The National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela met this Thursday with electoral delegations and parliamentarians from Latin America visiting the country prior to the presidential elections of next July 28.
