Description

A couple of weeks ago, a client of mine said to me, "I know I need to relax to heal, but I can't relax; literally, I can't sit still. If I do, I feel like I'm going to jump out of my skin."

When he said this, I realized that he was not the only client who had told me this before.

Many of my clients feel that relaxing is very difficult, all for different reasons and different life stages. Maybe you're a mom with too many things to do. Or you're a business owner with an endless list of tasks to complete. Or you're a teacher and father who juggles taking his kids to school and showing up to work without forgetting to eat breakfast.

When you take a moment to sit still, relax, do nothing - it's uncomfortable. Your body wants to get up and move. Basically, you don't feel relaxed when you're "relaxing." This is what happens when you have nervous system dysregulation.

How do you regulate your nervous system when it's not regulating on its own? And if you're currently experiencing this, how DO you relax?

Today, I'm going to dive into two paradigms to help you explore the nature of relaxing and 5 hacks to help you relax and get nervous system regulation with greater ease - no matter what's going on in your life.
