As the first act signed to legendary saxophonist Grover Washington Jr.’s production company the trio jumped off in the early 1980s with three foundational albums produced by Washington.
Pieces of a Dream, which by the 2000s had pared down to a duo, has remained active in the studio and on stage consistently for the past 40 years -- including 19 albums of smooth jazz, funk and R&B. Their most recent release is 2019’s On Another Note.
