It's a wonder such a great constitutional scholar has not been hired by some Texas school to teach law or at the very least Texas history. You see, he also doesn't understand that "Remember the Alamo!" was a rallying cry for...secession. He puts down a Texas legislator who advocates Texas secession because he owns an Ace Hardware store. This coming from the "historian" who has spent nearly forty years writing stupid pieces like this one and getting paid for it. Who is more valuable to Texas?
