Episode Details

Supernatural Season 6, Episode 2, Two and a Half Men recap 🍼 Babies are being kidnapped across the country, and the Winchesters end up babysitting, with Dean changing diapers, stocking up on butt paste, and turning out to be a total natural, on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast. (The title is a Charlie Sheen sitcom nod. Three Men and a Baby vibes, too.)

Sam calls Dean for help with a case: a shapeshifter is stealing babies and murdering their parents. Dean leaves Lisa and Ben behind to help, and the boys end up responsible for a six-month-old. While the Campbells (led by Grandpa Samuel) chase the case, Sam and Dean are left on baby duty: grocery store runs, crying fits, and a very surprising nap time. And something about this baby isn't quite what it seems.

Episode Highlights:

• Ben in the garage with Dean's gun (yikes)
• Lisa FINALLY speaking up for herself
• Sam being cold, distant, and very not-Sam
• Meet Bobby John: Dean chose Bobby, Sam chose John (and we have THOUGHTS about that)
• Dean humming Smoke on the Water as a lullaby (and a little whiskey for the baby's gums, old-school style)
• The baby's secret (we were NOT ready for that squelching noise)
• The Campbells' very questionable plan for the baby
• Our first look at the Alpha shapeshifter
• Dean calling out Sam and Samuel for what they knew

In the lore segment, we ask: are shapeshifters real? We dig into the theories, …plus the viral airplane meltdown starring a woman from our own backyard in Dallas, who declared, "That motherfucker is not real."

Sam: "Not every hunter is a head case. I mean, Samuel is actually a lot like you."
Dean: "I'm a freakin' head case."

Your turn, hunters: Is babysitting Dean your favorite Dean? And what do you think the Campbells are up to? Tell us in the Spotify comments, leave a rating and review on Apple Podcasts (it's how new hunters find us), or send us fan mail. Bonus points for fandom fun facts we missed.
