So when the verse from Galatians says that the fruit of the spirit is peace, it is knowing that when we have the spirit in us and among us, we are able to sit in peace. We are able to rest in peace and know that the Holy Spirit is with us and the peace of God is in us. Peace is a gift. Ps. 29:11 – says “May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!” Are you enjoying this gift daily or does it remain unopened? God has purposed that this gift is for you both in positional and practical ways.
