Hey there awesome surfers and beachgoers! Ready for some waves? Here's your surf forecast for the California coast:

In Malibu and Los Angeles County beaches, we've got a High Surf Advisory kicking in from 9 PM Thursday through 3 PM Saturday. Keep an eye out for high rip current risks and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Today, expect surf heights of 3 to 5 feet with a water temperature ranging from 57 to 60 degrees. Tomorrow, the surf will pick up to 5 to 8 feet with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the mix.

Moving down to Ventura County beaches, the High Surf Advisory and high rip current risk also extend from 9 PM Thursday through 3 PM Saturday. Surf heights will be ranging from 3 to 6 feet today, increasing to a more exciting 6 to 10 feet tomorrow. Don't forget your sunscreen with water temperatures between 59 and 61 degrees!

Heading towards Santa Barbara, we've got a Beach Hazards Statement starting the same time, with high rip current risks and that same slight chance of thunderstorms. Surf heights today will be 3 to 5 feet, while tomorrow you might catch some 7-foot local sets among the 3 to 6 feet pretty consistent surf.

For San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Central Coast beaches, think big surf! A High Surf Advisory is in place from 3 PM Thursday through 3 PM Saturday. Surf heights will start at 4 to 7 feet today, building up to an epic 12 to 16 feet tomorrow with local sets up to 18 feet - that's some serious wave action, folks!

Remember, always keep an eye out for rip currents as those waves hit the shore. So grab your boards, wax up, and hit the waves, but stay safe out there!
