On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan chats with Zach Gregory of Michigan about his love for hunting public land. Zach talks about growing up in a family that only hunted during "deer camp". It just so happened that "deer camp" never resulted in any deer, it was more or less a social event. Over the course of 15 years Zach had never shot a deer during "deer camp". So one season he had enough and decided to start hunting public. The first season he went to hunt public with a ladder stand , and although he tagged out, his gut told him there was something more.
