Q1. Is having a fake birthday on Facebook a sin? It is the ninth commandment: Thou shalt not bear false witness (Exodus 20:16). I know you can make Facebook birthdates private, etc. However, the way I was taught by cyber safety as a kid made it seem that for certain things, you should put down a different date of birth, and there are other sites which demand a date of birth. Faking names would be the same, I guess.
