"Just because you don't know it doesn't make it controversial."-- wise words from this week's guest, Valencia Abbot, who is continuously pursuing new historical knowledge through research as well as ways to hone the art of teaching.  In this episode, Valencia teaches us new and deeper ways to teach about Black history, talks to us about professional development to continue to improve our craft, and also shares her research about Griggs v. Duke Power Company (1968).  She really helped me think in new ways, and I know she'll do the same for you!
