Episode Summary: It's Christmas Day, and Chad Wicker has his first assignment. Chris Overton — ex-soldier, charity worker, churchgoer, wife beater — is a man full of contradictions, and Chad spends the day peeling back every layer. The research is methodical, the preparation cold and precise, but what Chad finds ignites something beyond the mission: a five-year-old quadriplegic daughter, a wife with her head bowed in shame, and a man who put them both in hospital on Chad's own eighteenth birthday. By the time Chris Overton walks through his front door whistling, Chad is already waiting in the dark. What follows isn't the kill Chad planned — it's something more considered, more devastating, and arguably more just. Chris Overton will never hurt his family again. And Chad Wicker has forty-nine jobs left to go.
