In this episode Christina and Ekemini are taking a brief detour from the “Back to Basics” series to introduce a short yet important series about child poverty and our Christian duty to care for the poor. Join them at the table as they talk about their own experience with and view of poverty. They delve into the social ramifications of poverty stereotypes that flatten and distort our view of children and adults in poverty. This conversation will prepare us for Truth’s Table’s Faith & Child Anti-Poverty Forum on April 4th, 2024 in Columbia, MD at The Harriet Tubman Cultural Center.
