Coming up in my early days in terrestrial radio I didn't have many, if any women mentors. Not that I think any less of my male mentors, but there is something special that happens when two women that respect each other get together to have an open and honest chat about the broadcasting industry as it pertains to women. My guest on this episode is Jess Dutra, Morning Show Co-Host on the Kramer and Jess on Mix 1065 in Baltimore MD. One could say that we should have been foes over friends because at one point in time we were on competing stations. But I have always had the mindset that it's me against me, and instead of making enemies, let's get together and makes some laughs. We did just that in this episode where Jess introduces me to one of the most FOUL reality TV shows I've ever heard of, but we also had some really great nuggets of inspiration too. Jess may be younger than I am in years by a bit, but she's got true wisdom and grit beyond her years. Not only about broadcasting and business, but in relationships and goals as a whole.
