On this day we celebrate Palm Sunday, which we know as the beginning of Easter. When Jesus made his triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem, fulfilling the prophecy found in the book of Zechariah 9:9 that says: "Rejoice exceedingly, daughter of Zion. Shout for joy, daughter of Jerusalem. Behold, Your king comes to you, righteous and blessed, humble, riding on a donkey, on a colt, the son of a donkey.”
And that same just, humble, and savior king continues to reign today. Offering us salvation and eternal life through the sacrifice on the cross. Jesus is King!
