Thanks to giants_of_ancientamerica, there is an 1845 Evansville Journal article, reporting the discovery of an 18 foot giant found several feet underground, that of course, the Smithsonian eventually confiscated, like they have many other history changing finds, such as this.

The fact that the statue of St Peter in Argentina is one thing, the fact that the current "Pope" is from there is another, along one more facts you'll hear on the show, will be too much to be a coincidence!
