🟩 Fortune article states that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is considering classifying ETH as a security, potentially impacting ETH ETFs. Investigative subpoenas have been issued to US companies. The Ethereum Foundation received a confidential inquiry. Previously disclosed government inquiries were removed from their website. A Swiss regulator may also be involved. Analysts doubt SEC approval for Ether ETFs due to limited engagement. Recent SEC activity may relate to an upcoming deadline. https://lnkd.in/edgB9C_8
