The Fruit 🍇 of the Spirit: The Disaster of NOT Bearing Fruit‼️

Description
John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Luke 13:6-9 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. The test of sincerity is not in words, but in deeds. Christ does not say to any man, What say ye more than others? but, “What do ye more than others?” (Matthew 5:47). Full of meaning are His words, “If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them” (John 13:17). Words are of no value unless they are accompanied with appropriate deeds.- {Christ Object Lessons p. 272} Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Now the next day, when they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.” Mark‬ ‭11‬:‭20‬-‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.” ‭‭ Those who thus live for self are like the fig tree, which made every pretension but was fruitless. They observe the forms of worship, but without repentance or faith. In profession they honor the law of God, but obedience is lacking. They say, but do not. In the sentence pronounced on the fig tree Christ demonstrates how hateful in His eyes is this vain pretense. He declares that the open sinner is less guilty than is he who professes to serve God, but who bears no fruit to His glory. – {Desire of Ages p. 584.1} 2 Timothy 3:5-7 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH WITHOUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT WILL LAND US IN HELL JUST LIKE THE OUTRIGHT SINNER Matthew 3:8-10 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. DON’T ALLOW THE CARES OF LIFE TO CHOKE YOU SO THAT YOU PRODUCE NO FRUIT Matthew 4:18-19 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
