No one really knows what someone else is going through. Or how they are feeling inside. 

That snippy waitress might be preparing for her last day with a loved one.  Someone else might have just lost their job. Your stand-offish co-worker might be dealing with a troubled marriage. That guy that didn’t see that the light had turned green might be spaced out from just learning he has cancer.  That woman panhandling in the parking lot might be living in her car after leaving an abusive relationship.

Even those that appear super happy might be carrying some pain they aren’t ready to face.  We just never know.

So, this is your reminder to just be nice.  Be kind. Be generous.  Give love. Give help. Give them a break.
