[המשך] ההוראה מזה: ג' מצבים אלו ישנם גם בנוגע לעצת "יצר הרע הזה": תחלה הוא מנסה להפחיד את הילד שלעבוד את ה' זה עבודה קשה מידי. וכשרואה שזה לא מצליח – ממשיך לייעץ לו (ואומר לו) לומר להוריו וכד' שהוא עייף מידי להתפלל ולומר ברכות וכו', ""עוצו עצה . . דברו דבר'", אבל אין לו מה להתפעל מזה כי "עוצו עצה ותופר . . כי עמנו א-ל"! וכאשר היצר רואה שזה לא מצליח – אומר לו שההנהגה ע"פ תורה תדרוש ממנו לפרוש ולמלט את עצמו מהחברה שמסביבו וכו', שלא יוכל לשחק איתם ב"כדור" בשבת וכד' – הנה "עד זקנה . . אמלט", שהקב"ה עוזר לו בזה במשך כל ימי חייו. הידיעה שיש את הכח לבטל את עצת היצר ולנצחו לגמרי – מהווה נתינת-כח לעסוק בעניני תומ"צ בפועל, ומתוך שמחה, ועי"ז ממשיכים "אורה ושמחה" בכל דור ובכל מקום עד ל"שמחת עולם" בגאולה האמיתית והשלימה.

[Continuation.] The lesson is: as with “this evil Haman,” these three stages occur with the counsel of “this evil inclination” as well: First the yetzer hara tries to scare a child, telling him that serving Hashem is too difficult. When it sees that this doesn’t work – it “Contrives a scheme” and “speaks words,” telling him to tell his parents, etc. that he’s too tired to daven and say brachos etc. – but the child need not be deterred because “it will be foiled…for G-d is with us.” And when the yetzer hara sees that this doesn’t work either – it tells him how adhering to Torah requires him to remove himself and “be delivered” from certain thing; he won’t be able to play ball like his non-Jewish neighbors on Shabbos etc. – but “To old age I am [with you]…and I will deliver you” – Hashem helps him succeed in this throughout his entire life. The knowledge that one has the power to nullify the counsel of the yetzer hara and be completely victorious over it – empowers one’s practical service of Torah and mitzvos, and with joy, which brings “light and joy” in every generation and every place, up to the “eternal joy” of the true and complete Redemption.Top of Form
