Description
Jesus died on the cross at 3 pm on the day of his crucifiction and by late afternoon Joseph of Arimathea had taken his body down from the tree and with Pilate's permission he was allowed to bury it. It was prepared for burial by the women who had been at the cross and Joseph and Nicodemus who supplied the burial cloths and 75 pound of spices. He was dead and he was buried.
