עפ"י מ"ש בנוגע לתוצאות נס פורים "ליהודים היתה אורה וגו'" ואחז"ל "אורה זו תורה" מובן שזה צ"ל הנקודה הפנימית של מבצע פורים – זה לא משנה על איזה פרט בנוגע לפורים ידברו ויעוררו – זה צריך לעורר אצל המושפעים והמודרכים ש"אורה זו תורה", יוקר התורה. אין דבר יקר יותר מ"חיים" והרי התורה "היא חיינו"! ו"המעשה הוא העיקר" – ללמוד התורה, ובאופן של "חיות" ו"אורה", ו"כל המרבה ה"ז משובח". וזוהי נקודה העיקרית והפנימית של התוועדות זו – לעורר מבעוד מועד על ה"שטורעם" המיוחד שצ"ל במבצע פורים בנוגע ללימוד התורה ולחינוך עפ"י תורה, כדי שיתכוננו לזה. ובעצם, הדבר מפורש בגמ' עה"פ "קיימו וקבלו היהודים וגו'", שבימי הפורים "קיימו מה שקיבלו כבר" בשעת מ"ת, וגם "על זרעם", במשך כל הדורות כולם. וכאשר פועלים על הזולת, הנה ה' מאיר לו פניו בכל הענינים, ובמיוחד – להצלחה מופלגה בלימוד התורה שלו.

On the verse, “The Jews had light and joy and gladness and honor,” the Gemara says, “light means Torah;” that is, the result of Purim was that it led to more Torah study, and this must also be inner purpose of Mivtza Purim: no matter what aspect of Purim is being emphasized and discussed, it must inspire people to understand that “light means Torah” – the preciousness of Torah. Nothing is more precious to a person than his life, and the Torah “is our life!” And “action is the main thing” – to study Torah, with enthusiasm and light, and “whoever increases in this, is praiseworthy.” This is the inner purpose of this farbrengen: to emphasize in advance that Mivtza Purim must be done with a focus toward increasing in Torah study and education according to Torah. And in truth, this is mentioned explicitly in the Gemara on the verse “The Jews upheld and accepted etc.,” during the days of Purim “what they had already accepted” when the Torah was given, and they accepted it “upon their offspring” as well, for all generations. And when we one influences others in this regard, Hashem shines His countenance toward him in everything, and especially, granting him tremendous success in his Torah study.
