Identify the customers' key care abouts and pain points.  Size the potential market for the product.  Develop a position in the market for the product given the competition. Test the market with minimum viable products and test use cases. Drive the development of the product by building out the features in a logical order. Develop a roadmap for the life of the product. Refine the vision for the product and its role in the market. Continually review the product and refine the goals for it.
