במדינה זו, שענין ה"פרסומת" תופס מקום עיקרי, קשה לפעול שעכ"פ בנוגע לענינים של פועל יעסוק בזה בכל כחו אפי' אם לא יתנו לו "יישר כח" וכו'. ועד"ז בנוגע העבודה דהמשכת "עיקר שכינה בתחתונים", שעיקר הפעולה בזה בזמן הגלות היא בארצות הברית, מוטלת עלינו האחריות לזה, ובודאי שלא צ"ל נפק"מ אם הדבר יתפרסם או לא – העיקר לפעול א"ז במקומו וזמנו עתה! וכמו שלומדים מעשיית המשכן שלא נימנו שמותיהם של עושי המלאכה (באופן כללי)! ובאמת נבנה המשכן והוקם אך ורק בכחו של משה רבינו [כמ"ש ברביעי דפ' פקודי]! ועד"ז בדורנו צריך לדעת שהקמת המשכן בכ"מ הוא בכחו וע"י הרבי! ומכיון שענין המשכן הוא השראת השכינה, הנה גם לאחר הקמתו בפועל, מיום ליום הולכת ומתרבה הקדושה שבו [וזהו הביאור במענת כ"ק אדנ"ע על השאלה מהו החילוק בין לימוד מאמר בפעם ה-60 לפעם ה-59 (כהוראת אביו ללמוד כל מאמר 60 פעם) – שזהו גדול יותר מהחילוק שבין פעם ה-60 לפעם הא'!], ועד"ז בנוגע למשכן שבכ"א: גם לאחר הקמתו צ"ל "מעלין בקודש" בכל יום. ומכיון שהוא מקושר למנהיג הדור שהוא "בלי גבול", הרי גם עבודתו צ"ל ללא הגבלות!

In this country, “advertising” stands at the forefront of everything, and it is difficult to get people to fully invest themselves into something without giving them publicity for it etc. etc. Today, when the work of bringing “the essence of the Shechinah to the lower realms” takes place primarily in the United States, it must be done whether it gets publicized or not – the main thing is to actually make it happen here and now. We learn this from the construction of the Mishkan, where the people who constructed it are generally not mentioned by name. And the truth is that the Mishkan was built and erected only by the power of Moshe Rabbeinu (as it says in Revi’i of Parashas Pekudei). Similarly, in our generation, one must know that the building of the Mishkan in every place is by the power of and through the Rebbe! Since the function of the Mishkan is the indwelling of the Shechinah, therefore, even after it has been built, its holiness constantly increases every day (like the explanation of the Rebbe Maharash’s instruction to the Rebbe Nishmaso Eden’ to review every maamar 60 times – that the difference between the 60th time and the 59th time is even greater than the difference between the 60th time and the first time). The same applies to the Mishkan within every Jew: even after it has been built, one must “ascend in holiness” every day. And since one is connected to the leader of the generation, who is without limit, his Divine service must also be without limit.
