Published 5 years, 10 months ago
Description
On this week’s show we hear more from UK journalist Ed Aarons on his book “Made in Africa – The history of African players in English football”. Ed looks at South African trailblazer Albert Johanneson – one of the first high-profile black players, of any nationality, to play top-flight football in England. And we talk about another South African, Lucas Radebe, and his hugely successful time at Leeds United. Plus Stuart on Arsenal’s goalscoring problems.
