"Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother"-Jesus (Mark 3:35)
And what is God's will for us but that we are merciful with one another, that we do Justice to one another and that we walk with humility in all of our being and doing? What is God's will for us other than that we live lives of loving engagement with the world around us?
Being family is not about blood or birth. It’s not about race, gender or culture. It's not about what we say we believe. It's about who we are and how we care for one another.
If the cosmos lives and moves and has its being in God, then we are all in relationship with God. Those who responds positively to that "voice" are truly God's children. Living with each other in love makes us family.
