In Mississauga, Ontario, federal Energy Minister Jonathan Wilkinson announces $16.7 million in funding for the Independent Electricity Systems Operator (IESO), the province's power grid operator, to support an initiative that will improve its electricity grid operations. He is joined by his provincial counterpart Todd Smith and Lesley Gallinger, president of the IESO
