On this week's show, host Phil Tower welcomes Nikki Stoner, community care coordinator for Hanger Clinic, and Anna Kahl, certified prosthetist/orthotist, with Hanger Clinic. Anna and Nikki spoke with us about the upcoming Limb Loss Awareness 5k. Both Kentwood Parks and Recreation and Hanger Clinic work together to put on the annual Hanger Clinic Limb Loss Awareness 5k. This year's event is Saturday, April 29, at Veterans Memorial Park in Kentwood, MI. This annual event is an important fundraiser for Kentwood Parks and Recreation’s Adaptive Recreation Programs. All profits will be channeled towards improving and offering more programs for people with physical disabilities

Grace is also a certified diabetes educator. Grace spoke with us about diabetes prevention and healthy diets to prevent type 2 diabetes onset.
