This week's program, host, Phil Tower, first welcomes Dr. Matthew Old, MD, the Director of Head and Neck Surgery at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. A group of viruses that are not often talked about, but most people will likely be exposed to HPV. Doctors at The Ohio State Comprehensive Care Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute predict in the next decade that HPV-related throat cancer will soon be the most common type of cancer among Gen X (ages 45 to 65). More than 42 million Americans are infected with types of human papillomavirus that can cause disease.

In part two of our program this week, Phil speaks with Lisa Deden-Cooper, Manager of Advocacy for AARP Michigan. The vast majority of Michigan small business owners and decision-makers say more should be done to support Michigan workers saving for retirement, according to a new AARP small business survey. The survey, conducted in late June this year found that survey respondents agree that state lawmakers should back legislation to make it easier for businesses to access a retirement savings option at work for their employees and themselves.
