Matt Costa is a foiler and mathematician who has a hobby of studying wave fundamentals. He comes on the show to educate us on how waves are formed, what makes epic downwind conditions and a ton of stuff you thought you understood but really didn't (at least I didn't...). He supports helmets and boog-foiling.
