In this week’s episode, we talk with filmmaker Glenn Andreiev about the 1930 film The Blue Angel. We talk about how the film shot Marlene Dietrich into stardom. We also talk about the six other films Dietrich made with director Josef von Sternberg. We also chat with Glenn about Emil Jannings, the lead character. There were multiple remakes, that were inferior.
Glenn and I also discuss his new documentary film, Long Island Joins the Space Race. Glenn makes GREAT documentaries and this one is not to be missed when you get the chance.
