Episode Details

DON TONY AND KEVIN CASTLE return for an absolutely loaded episode of the Don Tony and Kevin Castle Show, (recorded 10/24/23). Check out the synopsis below for the topics discussed and the cool announcement involving almost 20 years of Don Tony and Kevin Castle Show episodes. Some Topics Discussed:

• Lyra Valkyria defeats Becky Lynch for NXT Women's Championship. DT/KC discuss Becky passing the NXT Torch to Lyra and leaving NXT Women's Division better than when she arrived. DT/KC also believe that Jade Cargill should and will get involved in the NXT Women's Title picture much sooner than later.
• Grading Adam Copeland's first four weeks in All Elite Wrestling
• Sting announces his retirement for early 2024. DT/KC think AEW should follow the template of Great Muta's retirement. Have a 'Sting: Farewell Tour' featuring several matches involving Sting.
• Impact Wrestling announces a rebrand back to TNA Wrestling in 2024. With Impact currently drawing just 80,000 viewers, what could TNA possibly do to improve their ratings?
• Should Impact Wrestling sign CM Punk? DT/KC point out if CM Punk couldn't consistently draw 600K viewers for an AEW product, how can anyone think appearing in Impact/TNA would do even half that rating? And what lasting effects would CM Punk truly generate for Impact/TNA after he leaves for WWE?
• AEW Wrestling without Tony Khan in charge? Ownership change? Out of business altogether? DT/KC discuss if any of this could happen within a few years and if so, how?
• With over 30 Title Defenses already during his reign, has Seth Rollins had a very good run as WWE World Champion?
• DT/KC both agree: Drew McIntyre should be the next WWE World Champion, and it should happen before the end of 2023.
• Praise for Rhea Ripley and a special trait she currently has in WWE
• Plus: Thoughts on Luchasaurus in WWE... MSK (Wes Lee/Nash Carter) reforming in NXT... Some quick memories of old school TNA... A look at the media manipulation within wrestling, politics, real world issues (War in Israel)... DT/KC want some Texas Barbecue; Things, DT/KC would change immediately in NYC and much more!
