2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  THE WORD OF GOD IS LIFE CHANGING, NONE CAN IN HUMILITY STUDY IT THAT WILL REMAIN THE SAME. The Bible is our rule of faith and doctrine. There is nothing more calculated to energize the mind and strengthen the intellect than the study of the word of God. No other bookis so potent to elevate the thoughts or give vigor to the faculties, as the broad, ennobling truths of the Bible. If God’s word were studied as it should be, men would have a breadth of mind, a nobility of character, and a stability of purpose that are rarely seen in these times. – {Gospel Workers p. 249.2} Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. WHEN WE FEAST ON THE WORD WE MUST SHARE IT WITH OTHERS MIGHT BE CHANGED ALSO Acts 2:37-38 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41¶Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  IT IS A GREAT DISGRACE TO THE CAUSE OF GOD TO HAVE BAPTIZED MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH WHO SIN WORSE THAN NONBELIEVERS‼️ THEY EAT, DRINK, DRESS, DANCE AS IF THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN A BIBLE. 2 Timothy 3:5-7 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  WHEN WE LEARN FROM THE WORD WE MUST BE CHANGED BY THE WORD  Christ saw how the existence of false brethren in the church would cause the way of truth to be evil spoken of. The world would revile the gospel because of the inconsistent lives of false professors. Even Christians would be caused to stumble as they saw thatmany who bore Christ’s name were not controlled by His Spirit. Because these sinners were in the church, men would be in danger of thinking that God excused their sins. Therefore Christ lifts the veil from the future and bids all to behold that it is character, not position, which decides man’s destiny. – {Christ Object Lessons p. 122.2} Romans 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  READ Romans 6:11-13, Romans 13:12-14 WHEN WE MAKE PROVISION TO FULFILL THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH WE GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE AUTHOR OF THE SCRIPTURES.
