In this third week of Lent, Fr, Timothy continues to encourage us in our parish prayer project.

We're diving deep into the desires that lead us to commit sin.

God created us with good desires, but they became disordered after the fall.

Now we want all kinds of things that are not good for us.

Today we pray into our wounds.

The first step of being a disciple of Jesus is humility, saying “I'm broken. I can't do this alone.”

Wounds lead to false beliefs, lead to inner vows, lead to self reliance, lead to sin.
