How DCPL Preserves D.C.'s Unseen Black History

Published 1 year, 10 months ago
Description

The MLK library is home to D.C.'s People’s Archive, a living breathing collection honoring the city's cultural, social, and political history. Program Coordinator Maya Thompson and Archivist Derek Gray join us to explain how the archive preserves and celebrates Black History, and why right now, that's more important than ever.

After the interview, senior executive producer Priyanka Tilve joins for a conversation sponsored by Alliance Francaise, about the organization’s exciting summer opportunities.
