1) השיעור ברמב"ם בימים אלו הוא ב"הלכות נחלות". ולכאו' מהי ההוראה מלימוד דיני ירושה כעת, כאשר משיח בא "נאו", שאז יחיו כולם חיים נצחיים?! אלא המדובר הוא על ירושה רוחנית שיורשים מהאבות והאמהות של כלל ישראל – אברהם יצחק ויעקב, שרה רבקה רחל ולאה! כל ילד/ה יהודי/ה צריכים לדעת שניתנה להם "ירושה" ו"נחלה" הכי יקרה – "תורה צוה לנו משה מורשה קהלת יעקב", ובמילא עליהם לשמור ולהשתמש ב"ירושה" זו באופן המתאים. 2) השיעור ברמב"ם בימים אלו הוא ב"הלכות נחלות". ביאור הענין ד"נחלה" בעבודת האדם: בכ"א מישראל ישנם ג' הענינים ד"אשרנו מה טוב חלקנו .. גורלנו .. ירושתנו". "ירושה" קאי על האהבה ויראה שיש לכאו"א בירושה מהאבות. אמנם, מכיון ש"ירושה" הוא דבר הבא ממילא, ה"ז באופן ד"נהמא דכיסופא", ולכן צ"ל גם ענין העבודה בכח עצמו: "חלק" – העבודה בכחות פנימיים, ו"גורל" – העבדוה בכחות המקיפים. והיינו, שה"ירושה" שכאו"א מישראל "יורש הכל", תחדור בכל מציאותו.

(1) In today’s Rambam we learn about the laws of inheritance; seemingly, what lesson can we derive from the laws of inheritance nowadays, if Moshiach is coming now, and we will all live forever? But the point is the spiritual inheritance passed down from the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov, and Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, and Leah. Every Jewish boy and girl should know that they have been given the most precious “inheritance” and “heritage”: “The Torah that Moshe commanded us is the inheritance of the congregation of Yaakov,” and it must be cherished and used properly. (2) The idea of an “inheritance” in Divine service: Every Jew has three aspects: “We are fortunate, how goodly is our portion…our lot…our inheritance.” “Inheritance” refers to the love and fear every Jew inherits from the Patriarchs. However, since an inheritance comes automatically and without effort on the part of the heir, it is like “bread of shame”; therefore, one’s personal effort is also required, namely, “our portion” (the service with the inner faculties) and “our lot” (the service with the encompassing faculties). That is, the “inheritance” every Jew has, should permeate their entire being (“inheriting everything”).
