עיקר נקודת המאמר ד"ה וקבל היהודים פורים קטן ה'תרפ"ז הוא ענין החינוך – "מפי עוללים ויונקים יסדת עוז", ו"אין עוז אלא תורה". התואר "עוז" מורה על התוקף. שלא רק ש"אל יבוש מפני המלעיגים", כמ"ש בתחלת שו"ע, אלא זה גופא הוא בתקיפות, כאילו ה"מלעיג" אינו מציאות כלל ב"עולם" שלו, ואז ילך לבטח דרכו מתוך שמחה ובטוב לבב. וזה בא ע"י ההתבוננות קלה במ"ש בשיעור חומש היומי "ונפלינו אני ועמך מכל העם [האדם] אשר על פני האדמה" – שההבדלה הוא באופן של "פלא", עד שאין שייך "בחירה" ביניהם כי אין ביניהם צד השווה כלל. וכן ע"י ההתבוננות ש"כל ישראל יש להם חלק לעוה"ב וכו'". וכן ע"י ההתבוננות שהוא בנו יחידו של ממה"מ הקב"ה ששלח אותו למטה לעשות לו ית' דירה בתחתונים, עי"ז שמתנהג עפ"י שו"ע ו"לפנים משורת הדין" עפ"י הדרכת תורת החסידות ורבותינו נשיאינו. כמבואר במאמר הנ"ל.

משיחת יום ג', פורים קטן ה'תשל"ח

The main point of the maamar V’kibel Hayehudim of Purim Katan 5687 (1927) is about Jewish education, “Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings You have established strength,” and “There is no strength but Torah.” The term “strength” indicates standing strong – not only to “not be ashamed before the scoffers,” as it says at the very beginning of the Shulchan Aruch – but to do so by standing strong, putting oneself in a such a place where the “scoffers” are not part of his world at all, so that he can go securely on his way with joy and gladness of heart. One can do this simply by contemplating the verse in today’s Chumash, “Then I and Your people will be distinguished from every nation [person] on the face of the earth” – where the “distinction” is in an exceptional manner, such that no “choosing” is possible between Jew and non-Jew because there is no commonality between them at all. Similarly, one attains this strength by contemplating how “every Jew has a portion in the World to Come” etc., and how every Jew is an only child of the King, King of Kings, the Holy One, Blessed be He, Who sent him to make a dwelling for Him in the lower realms – by conducting himself according to the Shulchan Aruch, and going “beyond the letter of the law,” with the guidance of the teachings Chassidus and our Rebbe’im – as explained in the aforementioned maamar.
