If you’ve been to a Timbers game, you’ve probably seen the Portland city flag waving from the stands. It’s been rated one of the best city flags in the country, but its design was once almost ruined by City Hall. Today we’re talking with Ted Kaye, author of the design bible “Good Flag, Bad Flag,” about our flag’s glow-up.
