Clocks fall back an hour this Sunday, marking the end of Daylight Saving Time. State lawmakers passed a law years ago making Daylight Saving Time permanent, so why are we still doing this? The answer is: It’s complicated. Today, we’re talking with science journalist Erin Ross about what’s going on with this frustrating annual tradition, as well as the history of how DST came to be in the first place.
